INTERN Nailah_FordBurrell_credit Mogilewsky

Did you ever wonder what our interns do at the reserve, working closely with LCF lemurs and staff? Here is a link to a video on our Facebook page showing a research student at work at the LCF Myakka City Lemur Reserve. CLICK HERE TO OPEN THE VIDEO ‘How Do Lemurs Learn?’ Is it by visual cue, audio cue or olfactory (smell) cue? What do you think? Antoine, our male Collared Lemur is three for three! We will have to wait and see what the data says about our lemurs. Watch as one of our Eckerd College research students puts him to the test.’

Maybe you or someone you know would like an amazing internship caring for our lemur collection? If you are interested in learning more about the Animal Husbandry Internship at the reserve contact us at pwalsh@lemurreserve.org
